Brother Andrew Hewitt was accused of sexually abusing a 14 year-old boy in the 1980’s. Hewitt was charged with sexually abusing a minor and was sentenced to five years of probation. The victim also filed a civil suit against Hewitt in 1988. Hewitt died in 2002.

Brother Hewitt is a member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and is deceased.
