Father A. Richard Gerbino was accused of sexually abusing two minor boys in the 1960’s. The daughter of his second victim filed a civil suit against Gerbino after her father committed suicide in front of her in 1970, which was settled. Gerbino’s first victim filed a civil suit against him in 2019. In 1985, Gerbino was removed from ministry for “mental health reasons.”
Gerbino was ordained in 1952 and is deceased.
