Summary of Sexual Abuse allegations against Father Carmen Sita:
Father Carmen Sita was accused of at least five minor boys. Sita was arrested in 1982 and pled guilty to sexually abusing a minor. Sita then changed his name to Gerald Howard and joined the Diocese of Jefferson City, Missouri. He was arrested again in 2010 and pled guilty to two counts of forced sodomy of a minor and one count of attempted forced sodomy of a minor. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Sita was permanently removed from ministry and laicized in 2012.
Father Sita was ordained in 1976.
