David Vasquez Threatened To Kill The Girl If She Told Authorities
After Vazquez raped the child, he allegedly returned to her room to apologize for hurting her but then also threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the abuse. A witness told investigators that they saw Vazquez going into the child’s room on multiple occasions overnight and that they would try to follow Vazquez into the child’s room to protect her.
Vazquez is charged with rape of a mentally disabled person, institutional sexual assault of a minor, sexual assault, indecent assault of a person with a mental disability, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children, and terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize another. Several of these charges are felonies.
