Father Robert Morel was accused of sexually abusing two minor boys, including a 9 year-old boy who Morel abused for 8 years between 19773 and 1981. In 1994, Morel was convicted of having sexual contact with a minor and was sentenced to six months of probation. Morel was placed on leave in 1993 and did not return to active ministry.

Father Morel was ordained in 1969 and is deceased.
