The Allegations of Sex Abuse in Lawrence

Thus far nine victims have come forth alleging rape since 2020. There have been allegations of child sexual abuse by Options staff as well. A therapist and the CEO are facing allegations of child sexual abuse.

Staff at Options have indicated the facility is not safe and reports indicate the policy has been called more than 500 times. The facility faces allegations of putting the bottom line over patients safety, as staff have come forward disclosing high caseloads and poor oversight. While it appears that the news media is actively investigating Arcadia, it is unclear which authorities are investigating.
