Bryam Salas, Janitor Charged with Sexual Abuse of Child

Bryam Salas, 23, a janitor at New Life Charter Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is facing charges of sexual abuse of a child at the school. He admitted to abusing the little girl and said he knew it was wrong.

Salas allegedly abused an 8-year-old girl in the bathroom over two months. The little girl confided in a teacher and the teacher called the police.

Charges are:

• Two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim younger than 12 years of age
• One count of lewd and lascivious conduct

The investigation is ongoing.
