Dawn Chester, 54, a science teacher and volleyball coach in the Berkeley School District 87 in Illinois is facing charges  of sexual abuse against a girl during the student’s sixth and seventh grade years from 1998 to 2000. Chester was teaching at Westchester Middle School at that time, interestingly she resigned in 2000 and has been teaching within the Berkeley School District since then. This raises many questions of who knew what when and if there are other victims out there.

She has been placed on administrative leave from her current role with Northlake Middle School.
