Jesus Moore Lawrence High School Coach Arrested

Jesus Moore, a 34-year-old basketball coach at Lawrence High School, faces serious charges of raping a female former student. The allegations, brought to light through a courageous woman, have led to Moore’s arrest and an ongoing legal process.

Jesus Moore turned himself into the Manchester Police Department in New Hampshire on charges of aggravated felonious sexual assault. Following an immediate hearing, Moore’s bail was set at $1,000 cash, and his full arraignment is scheduled for March 27 at Manchester District Court.

The victim came forward, alleging that Moore sexually assaulted her in 2022 after arranging for her transportation to Manchester. The Lawrence Police were informed of these allegations by SafeSport, an abuse prevention organization in sports, prompting collaboration with Manchester authorities on Feb. 7.
