Maxwell Sidney Fletcher, a 30-year-old teacher and assistant coach for the men’s soccer team at East Lincoln High School, North Carolina, is facing multiple charges of sexual assault against soccer players he coached. Fletcher plied the players with drugs and alcohol as a way to earn their trust and intoxicate them. He also has an outstanding warrant in Catawba County for second-degree kidnapping and indecent liberties, among other charges.
Fletcher’s charges for the two victims from East Lincoln High School include:
- statutory sex offense of a child under 15
- one count of felony crime against nature
- felony second-degree forcible sex offense.
