Summary of sexual abuse allegations against Father Dale J. Fushek:
Father Dale F. Fushek was the founder of the Life Teen movement in 1985 and moved on to become the Vicar General of the Phoenix Diocese. In 1995, he was accused of sexual abuse, which resulted in a settlement with the victim in 2002. In 2005, it came to light that Fushek allegedly abused five youths between 1985 and 1994.
In December 2006, a civil lawsuit alleging abuse by Fushek suit was settled for $100,000. Following the suit, Father Fushek left the priesthood and was forced out of the Church in 2008.
Father Fushek was ordained in 1978.
