Summary of Sexual Abuse allegations against Father Leonard A. Abercrombie:
In 1993, Father Leonard A. Abercrombie was accused of abusing a boy between 1953 and 1957 in a letter Abercromber’s victim wrote to Pope John Paul II. Father Abercrombie admitted to the abuse to a victim’s sister in 1992. In 2002, Abercrombie was also accused of sexual abuse in a civil lawsuit filed in Colorado. Father Abercrombie is accused of abusing at least nine boys.
Father Abercrombie was ordained in 1946. He died in 1994.
