Father Norman T. Connelly was accused sexually abusing two teenaged brothers who were altar boys at St. Peter. The brother allege that they were not the only altar boys Connelly sexually abused during his time at St. Peter. Connelly was named in the class action lawsuit, and a separate civil suit against him was settled. In 1993, the Diocese suspended Connelly from ministry, and he has since been permanently removed from ministry.
Father Connelly was ordained in 1965.
