Father John M. Capparelli was accused of sexually abusing at least 24 minor boys in the 1980’s. Capparelli left actie priesthood in the late-1980’s and had his privileges removed in 1992. Two civil suits against Capparelli were filed in 2011, and both were settled in 2012. Capparelli died in 2019.

Father Capperelli was ordained in 1980 and is deceased.
