Winston Nguyen NY Teacher Arrested, 11 Students Involved

Winston Nguyen, a 37-year-old middle and high school math teacher at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn, New York, is facing child sexual abuse material charges for posing as a fellow student and eliciting images from more than 11 students. From October 2022 -2024, Nguyen used Snapchat to elicit sexually explicit photos from his students, ages 13-15, from elite private schools around Brooklyn, including Saint Ann’s, Poly Prep Country Day School, Berkeley Carroll School, and Packer Collegiate Institute.

Authorities say Nguyen used his position as an educator to gain these students access and trust. Nguyen appeared on and won the TV game show Jeopardy in 2014.
